  • 1/2 cup Sprouted Moong Beans
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Urad Dal
  • as required A Few Curry Leaves
  • 1/2 Onion, Chopped
  • 1 Green Chilies, Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 0.13 cup Grated Coconut
  • as required Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Directions: Sprouted Moong Sukke Or Kilirpicha Payaru Thoran Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves. Saute until the mustard seeds crackle and the dal turns golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions and green chilies. Saute until the onions turn translucent.
  • STEP 3.Add the sprouted moong beans, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.Add grated coconut and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot as a side dish with rice or roti.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to soak the moong beans overnight and then sprout them for better digestion and nutrient absorption.
