Ingredients for Sprouted Moong filled Moong dal Chilla #BSK #SlurrpB7K1 Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Yellow Moong dal (Soaked)
  • 0.13 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 0.06 cup Curd
  • 0.06 tsp Hing
  • 1/4 inch Ginger piece
  • 1/2 g reen chillies
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.13 tsp Fruit salt
  • as required water
  • 0.13 cup Grated beetroots
  • 0.13 cup Grated carrots
  • 0.13 g Sprouted green moong dal
  • 0.13 cup Chopped onion
  • 1/2 g Chopped Green chillies
  • 1/2 tbsp Chaat masala powder
  • 0.13 cup Refined oil

Directions: Sprouted Moong Filled Moong Dal Chilla #bsk #slurrpb7k1 Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash & soak yellow Moong dal for over night.
  • STEP 2.Grind soaked Moong dal with ginger piece, green chillies &  water into smooth batter. Put into a mixing bowl, add besan, curd, hing into it, mix well & keep aside for 30 min.
  • STEP 3.After that add salt to taste & fruit salt & water if required, whisk & make smooth & pouring consistency batter.
  • STEP 4.Heat a non-stick or Cast Iron tawa sprinkle some Oil, wipe out with a tissue or kitchen cloth. Sprinkle some water & wipe out. Flame should be high. Now pour a ladle full of moong dal batter, immediately begin to spread it evenly starting from the centre in circular motion to make a thin crepe. Now Reduce heat & sprinkle some Oil all over & edges of the chilla. Now sprinkle some chopped onion, grated carrots, grated Beetroots, chopped green chillies, & sprouted moong dal on top & pour 2 tbsp of batter on it, mix with filling and press with a spatula, sprinkle some oil & chaat masala & Cook for 5 min. When it turns golden brown on the base, flip it gently, cook other side on medium flame for 5 min. or until crisp.
  • STEP 5.Fold it, sprinkle some Chaat masala all over the Chilla. Serve hot with green chutney & saunth chutney.
