  • 1/2 Medium Sized Potatoes, Peeled And Chopped
  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • as needed Chopped Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.First, soak the moong beans overnight and then drain the water.
  • STEP 2.Next, transfer the soaked moong beans to a muslin cloth and tie it tightly. Keep it in a warm place for 24 hours to sprout.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste and saut茅 for a minute. Then, add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  • STEP 5.Now, add the sprouted moong beans, chopped potatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Cover the pan and cook on low heat until the potatoes are tender and the moong beans are cooked.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
