  • 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 cup poha
  • 0.38 cup curd
  • 1/4 liter Water
  • As required Salt
  • As required oil for roasting

How to Make Sponge Dosa Recipe

STEP 01

In a bowl, soak 1 cup of rice and fenugreek seeds for at least 5 hours

STEP 02

Blend the soaked rice to prepare a batter.

STEP 03

Take the batter in a bowl and add curd.

STEP 04

Combine the batter and curd well.

STEP 05

Cover and ferment in a warm place for 8- 12 hours.

STEP 06

Take the prepared batter and add salt, mix gently.

STEP 07

Add water if required to adjust the consistency.

STEP 08

Take a pan at medium flame and grease with oil.

STEP 09

Pour a ladleful of batter on the pan and spread.

STEP 10

Cover the dosa with a lid for a minute and cook the dosa on steam.

STEP 11

Flip the dosa and serve on a plate with a chutney.
