Malida, which we can also call Churma, it is a kind of delicious and nutritious sweet dish, which is prepared differently in every state or province, although it is called a Rajasthani dish, I have made this churma with spinach. Here it is called malida which is made from roti or puri and jaggery or khand is used for sweetness.

Ingredients for Spinach malida Recipe

  • 1/4 Cup Boiled spinach
  • 0.38 Cup Wheat flour
  • 1/4 Cup chopped nuts almonds cashews
  • 1/4 Tbsp Poppy seeds
  • 1/4 Tbsp Magaj
  • 1/4 Tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar or khand or bura
  • As Required Oil or ghee
  • 1/2 Tbsp Ghee for moyan

Directions: Spinach Malida Recipe

  • STEP 1.1.. Mix the ghee and spinach in the flour well and after adding water little by little, knead a soft dough and keep it covered for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 2.️2.. Add ghee in a pan and fry the dry fruits and poppy seeds Heat ghee in a pan, make flour puris and fry them golden on medium heat.
  • STEP 3.3..Grind these made pooris in a mixer
  • STEP 4.️Now mix cardamom powder, fried dry fruits and sugar in it.
  • STEP 5.Delicious and nutritious green spinach malda is ready
