Ingredients for Spinach Boondi Raita Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Spinach leaves
  • 1/4 cup Besan
  • to taste Salt
  • a pinch Hing
  • 1/2 Cups Oil for frying
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 0.13 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Chaat masala powder
  • as required water

Directions: Spinach Boondi Raita Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash spinach leaves and boil in 1 cup of water for 2 minutes. Drain and make puree in a blender.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl add besan, spinach puree ,hing and 1/4 tsp salt and mix every thing well. Make a thick batter. If needed than add some water.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a kadhai. Take small hole perforated spoon. Keep this spoon on kadhai and pour spinach batter. Make small sized boondi . Fry till they turn crispy. Remove from heat and keep it in a plate.Make all boondi from spinach batter like this.
  • STEP 4.In a bowl whisk curd .Add salt, cumin powder, black pepper powder and mix. Add prepared spinach boondi and mix. If required than add some milk or water. Serve garnish with cumin powder, red chilly powder, black pepper powder and chaat masala powder.
