  • 60 gms Spinach
  • 1/5 Tbsp Flour
  • 0.40 pieces Green chillies
  • 1/10 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/5 tsp Salt
  • 1/20 cup Feta cheese
  • 1.20 Pieces Phyllo pastry sheets
  • as required Oil
  • 1/5 tbsp water

Directions: Spinach And Feta Cheese Cigars Recipe

  • STEP 1.Boil 500 ml water in a pan .add spinach in to it. Blanch for a minute.
  • STEP 2.Immediately transfer the spinach into iced cold water.
  • STEP 3.Strain it and squeeze very well.
  • STEP 4.Now chop the spinach finely
  • STEP 5.Take the spinach on the plate add salt and pepper to it .Add feta cheese. Mix all very well.
  • STEP 6.Now make slurry Take a small bowl, put all purpose flour.Add a little water and make a thick slurry of it Take phyllo pastry roll sheet, put some stuffing at one corner of it roll it in cigar shape. Now apply some slurry at the end of the sheet before we close it. So that the stuffing may not come out while frying. Heat sufficient oil in a wok. Deep fry prepared spinach and feta chesse cigars until they are golden brown and crispy. Transfer them to an absorbent paper to absorb excess oil from it. Now how to serve Take short glasses .put 1 teaspoon of garlic tomato sauce first in the glass then put one cigar in a particular short glass. Serve hot 🔥
