Ingredients for Spicy Watermelon Sabji Recipe

  • 200 gram Watermelon rind
  • 1 No.s Onion
  • 1 No.s Tomato
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 4 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fennel seeds
  • 2 No.s Dried chilli
  • 1 No.s Green chilli
  • 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Garam Masala
  • 1 tablespoon Kasoori methi
  • 1.50 Grated coconut sp
  • As required Coriander leaves

Directions: Spicy Watermelon Sabji Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Peel off the watermelon and cut it into pieces.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Chop onion and tomato.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Cut ginger and garlic cloves.

  • STEP 1.Add 2 tbsp oil and heat it.

step 7

  • STEP 1.Add 1 tbsp mustard,1 tbsp cumin seeds,½ tbsp fennel seeds.

  • STEP 1.Then add dried chilli, chopped garlic, ginger and onion.

  • STEP 1.Add ½ tbsp salt,1 tsp turmeric powder and saute well for 3 mins.

  • STEP 1.Now add chopped tomatoes, green chilli, red chilli powder and coriander powder.

  • STEP 1.Then saute well for a minute.

  • STEP 1.Now add the chopped watermelon and ½ tbsp salt.

  • STEP 1.Add ½ glass water and cover the lid and cook it for 5 mins on low flame.

  • STEP 1.Now add garam masala and kasoori methi.

step 15

  • STEP 1.Top with grated coconut and coriander leaves.
