  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
  • STEP 4.Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
  • STEP 5.Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • STEP 6.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and dried red chilies. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 7.Add the blended tomato mixture and cook for a few minutes until the chutney thickens.
  • STEP 8.Remove from heat and let it cool before transferring to a jar.
