Fusion Hakka noodles tossed in schezwan sauce and vegetables. Schezwan noodles recipe is made with the spicy schezwan sauce and Hakka Noodles is made with soy sauce. Hakka Noodles is more like your simple stir-fried noodles that is not spicy or pungent, while schezwan noodles is spicy. Ingredients for Spicy Schezwan Vegetable Noodles Recipe

  • 150 gram Hakka Noodles
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 10 Garlic finely chopped cloves
  • 2 inch Ginger finely chopped
  • 2 No.s green chillies finely chopped
  • 2 No.s onions thinly sliced
  • 2 No.s green capsicum thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cabbage thinly shredded
  • 2 No.s carrotsfinely grated
  • 4 tablespoon chinese red chilli sauce
  • 2 tablespoon schezwan sauce
  • 4 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon soya sauce
  • 4 stalk spring onionsfinely chopped
  • As required Salt

Directions: Spicy Schezwan Vegetable Noodles Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Into hot water, add salt to taste. Break 150 grams Hakka noodles. Boil until noodles are cooked. Then drain and rinse under cold water. Drizzle oil to prevent noodles from sticking together. Keep aside.

  • STEP 1.For the Schezwan masala, add 2 tbsp sesame oil in a preheated pan. When oil is hot, add 10 cloves garlic finely chopped and 2 inches of ginger finely chopped, 2 green chillies finely chopped, 2 onions thinly sliced and 2 green capsicum thinly sliced.

  • STEP 1.Saute till the onions and capsicum are softened, then add 1 cup of cabbage thinly shredded, 2 carrots finely grated and salt to taste. Do not add too much salt as the sauces already have salt.

  • STEP 1.Next add 4 tbsp Chinese red chilli sauce, 2 tbsp schezwan sauce,4 tbsp tomato ketchup, 1 tbsp soya sauce. stir well to combine all the ingredients and saute until cabbage and carrots are lightly cooked.

  • STEP 1.Then add the cooked noodles. Toss well so that the noodles get well mixed and coated with the masala. Add 4 stalk spring onions finely chopped and stir well to combine. Turn off the heat. Serve fresh and hot.
