Ingredients for Spicy Plantain Puff Recipe

  • 2 Nos plantains
  • As required Oil for deep frying
  • 1/2 Nos onion
  • 1 Nos habanero pepper
  • 3 cup white flour
  • As required Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon quick rise yeast
  • 1 cup Warm Water

  • STEP 1.Peel off the plantains and keep it in a plate

step 2

  • STEP 2.Grind habanero pepper,onion,plantain and make a smooth paste

step 3

  • STEP 3.In a bowl add white flour,sugar and yeast.

  • STEP 4.Now transfer the ground mixture in the bowl,add warm water and mix it with clean hands

step 5

  • STEP 5.Mix it for a minute and let it rest for 40 mins to an hour.

step 6

  • STEP 1. Add oil in a pan & heat it.

step 7

  • STEP 1.Wet hands in water then take a small amount of the batter and drop it in the oil.

step 8

  • STEP 1.Flip and fry until golden brown and then serve
