How to Make Spicy Oregano Curry Recipe

STEP 01

Make 1 glass tamarind water

STEP 02

Heat oil in a cooking pot.

STEP 03

Add coriander seeds,mix,and add gram dal,black peppercorns,cumin seeds and mix.

STEP 04

Then add urad dal,dried red chilli.

STEP 05

Add oregano seeds and saute for 3 mins.

STEP 06

Now grind the fried stuff and make a paste adding little water to it.

STEP 07

Heat 4 tsp oil in a cooking pan. add-mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds , urad dal, curry leaves. .

STEP 08

Now add shallots and mix. Add asafoetida powder 1/4 tsp rock salt and cook for 3 mins. Then add chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 mins.

STEP 09

Add turmeric powder , tamarind water and 1 tsp rock salt. Then add grinded paste and one glass of water. Now cook it on medium flame for 7 mins. Add jaggery powder and cook for a minute.
