  • 600 gram Mussels
  • 10 gram Ginger
  • 5 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 3 No.s Spring onions
  • 1/2 No.s Green pepper
  • 1/2 No.s Red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Spicy bean sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Wine
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Corn flour
  • 25 milliliter Water
  • 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce

Directions: Spicy Mussels And Ginger Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.in a small bowl combine 1 tsp corn flour with 25 ml water to make a smooth mixture.

step 2

  • STEP 1.in a wok heat 2 tsp oil on medium heat, add 10 gm thinly sliced ginger, 5 cloves thinly sliced garlic, 2 roughly chopped spring onions,1 tsp spicy bean sauce and stir fry for 10 seconds.

  • STEP 1. add 600 gm washed mussels and stir together. add 1 tsp rice wine, then cover and cook for 2 minutes.

step 4

  • STEP 1. when all the mussels have opened remove the cover, add 1 tsp sugar, ½ tsp ground white pepper, salt to taste, 1 tsp light soy sauce and the prepared corn flour water mixture.

step 6

  • STEP 1.6 add ½ red and ½ green pepper cut into bite size pieces and stir well together and cook for 1 minute.

step 7

  • STEP 2.7 discard any mussels that are still closed.

step 8

  • STEP 3.8 transfer toa dish and serve hot.
