Ingredients for Spicy Cumin Chicken Stir Fry Recipe

  • 2 gram Chicken breasts cut into layers lengthwise and then into thin strips along the breath 550
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin powder
  • 2 Spring onions chopped stalks
  • 4 Garlic chopped cloves
  • 10 gram Ginger chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
  • 2 Tomatoes cut into wedges Nos
  • 3 Green chilli pepper sliced Nos
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking wine
  • 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • As required Salt
  • 1 Oil ltr for deep frying

Directions: Spicy Cumin Chicken Stir Fry Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a large mixing bowl add 550 gm chicken breasts cut into 2 layers lengthwise and then into thin strips along the breath.

  • STEP 2.2 to this add 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp cooking wine, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tbsp cumin powder and salt to taste.

  • STEP 3.3 mix all the ingredients well and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

  • STEP 4.4 in a wok heat 1 ltr oil till smoking hot, add the marinated chicken pieces and stir to push the pieces apart to avoid sticking together.

  • STEP 5.5 fry for 3 to 5 minutes till chicken is cooked and changes colour.

  • STEP 6.6 use a slotted spoon to remove from the wok and shake off the excess oil into the wok.

  • STEP 7.7 in another wok add 1 tbsp oil and add 2 stalks chopped spring onion, 10 gm chopped ginger, 4 cloves chopped garlic and 1 tbsp cumin seeds.

  • STEP 8.8 stir fry for a minute till aromatic.

step 9

  • STEP 9.9 next add 3 sliced green chilli peppers, 2 tomatoes cut into wedges and the fried chicken pieces.

step 10

  • STEP 10.10 stir fry for 1 minute mixing all the ingredients in the wok well.

step 11

  • STEP 11.11 lastly add 1 tbsp sesame seeds and toss together.

step 12

  • STEP 12.12 transfer onto a dish and serve.
