Ingredients for Spicy Chicken And Mushroom Recipe

  • 6 No.s Chicken Drumsticks
  • 150 gram Mushrooms cut into halves
  • 20 gram Ginger thinly sliced
  • 2 No.s Spring onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Spicy bean sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
  • 500 milliliter Chicken stock or water
  • As required Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oil

Directions: Spicy Chicken And Mushroom Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a wok heat 2 tbsp oil, add chicken and fry till hicken changes colour and turns pale.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 add 20 gm thinly sliced ginger and 1 thinly sliced spring onion and stir fry for 1 minute.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 to this add 2 tbsp spicy bean sauce and stir fry for 1 minute.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 add 1 tbsp soy sauce and fry for another 1 minute.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 next add 150 gm mushrooms cut into halves, 2 tsp sugar, 500 ml chicken stock or water.

  • STEP 6.6 ensure that the liquid is just covering the chicken.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 cover and cook on medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 then remove the lid, turn the heat to high and cook till the liquid in the wok reduces to a small amount.

step 9

  • STEP 9.9 add 1 thinly sliced spring onion and stir.

step 10

  • STEP 10.10 turn off the heat and transfer to a serving dish.
