A delicious spicy soup of diced beef sauteed in sichuan pepper and chilli flakes and simmered in stock with noodles flavoured with sesame oil, ginger garlic and spring onions. This spicy beef noodle soup recipe is surprisingly simple to prepare at home, spicy, flavorful,and tastes even better than what you can get at a restaurant.

Ingredients for Spicy Beef And Noodle Soup Recipe

  • 200 gram Diced beef
  • 200 gram Noodles
  • 1 flakes Chilli tbsp
  • 4 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1 No.s Spring onion
  • 10 gram Ginger
  • 30 gram Coriander
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon Ground sichuan pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Chicken or beef granules
  • 1 Star anise Nos
  • As required Salt

Directions: Spicy Beef And Noodle Soup Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 add 200 gm diced beef, 1 star anise and 2 ltr water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 turn the heat to low, cover and simmer for about 1 hour. Then use a slotted spoon to remove and drain the meat. Keep aside.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 in a wok heat 1 tbsp oil, add 10 gm finely chopped ginger, 4 cloves finely chopped garlic, 1 tsp ground sichuan 1 tbsp chili flakes and stir fry for a few seconds.

  • STEP 4.4 then add the boiled meat, 1 tbsp tomato puree, 1 tbsp dark soy sauce and stir together well. Fry for a few seconds.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 add 1 ltr boiling water, 1 tbsp chicken or beef granules and salt to taste and bring to a boil.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 add 200 gm noodles and cook for 3 to 5 minutes till noodles are cooked.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 add 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 roughly chopped spring onions and 30 gm roughly chopped coriander and stir. Turn off the heat.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 transfer to a serving bowl.
