  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds

  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 0.13 cup Grated Coconut
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil

Directions: Spiced Tuna Hash-tuna Puttu Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they start to splutter, add curry leaves and chopped onions.
  • STEP 2.Saute the onions until they turn golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 3.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another minute.
  • STEP 4.Add the canned tuna and grated coconut. Mix everything together and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.

Cooking Tips

  • You can use fresh tuna instead of canned tuna for a more flavorful dish.
  • Adjust the spice level according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
