Ingredients for Soy Sauce Chicken Recipe

  • 2 No.s chicken quarters
  • 4 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
  • 3/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup dark soy sauce, rice wine, brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 No.s Garlic
  • 85 gram Ginger
  • 3 No.s Star anise
  • 1 piece Cinnamon bark
  • 2 piece dried tangerine peels
  • 1 teaspoon five spice

Directions: Soy Sauce Chicken Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1. Smack the garlics and keep aside.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Take a boiler with 8 cups of water and add bouillon in water then add 1 cup of soy sauce, 1 cup of dark soy sauce, 1 cup of wine ,1 tsp sesame oil and five spices.

  • STEP 3.Add garlic, ginger slices, tangerine peels and star anise, cinnamon bark, brown sugar and bring to boil.

  • STEP 4.Then add the chicken thighs and simmer for 15 minutes.

  • STEP 5.Make sure to flip those meat with sauce and continue to simmer for 15 minutes.

step 6

  • STEP 6.Then turn off the stove and let it rest for 30 minutes.

step 7

  • STEP 7.Remove the chicken thighs and save the soy sauce mixture if you need it to freeze it for future use.

step 8

  • STEP 8.Chop the thigh after it cools down.

step 9

  • STEP 9.Serve fresh and hot.
