Ingredients for South Indian Lamb Madras Curry Recipe
500 g Lamb (mutton) curry cut
2 nos Onion medium finely sliced
2 nos Tomato medium chopped
1 tbsp Garlic paste
1 tbsp Ginger paste
As required Coconut milk ½ cup
18 nos Curry Leaves –
As required Mustard seeds ½ tsp
1 tsp red chili powder
As required Turmeric powder ½ tsp
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tbsp Aashirvaad Karam Masala
As required Aashirvaad Salt as per taste
3 tbsp Oil
5 cups Water –

STEP 1.Heat oil in a cooker add mustard seeds and curry leaves let splutter Add sliced onions sauté
STEP 2.till golden brown then add ginger-garlic paste fry till raw smell goes Add tomatoes cook till soft
STEP 3.then add turmeric, red chili, coriander powder and Aashirvaad Karam Masala mix well Add lamb pieces sauté for 5–6 minutes till coated with masala
STEP 4.Add Aashirvaad Salt and 2–3 cups water pressure cook for 4–5 whistles till lamb turns tender
STEP 5.Open lid add coconut milk simmer for 5 minutes Garnish with curry leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or paratha
