Ingredients for South Indian Lamb Madras Curry Recipe

  • 500 g Lamb (mutton) curry cut
  • 2 nos Onion medium finely sliced
  • 2 nos Tomato medium chopped
  • 1 tbsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Ginger paste
  • As required Coconut milk ½ cup
  • 18 nos Curry Leaves –
  • As required Mustard seeds ½ tsp
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • As required Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp Aashirvaad Karam Masala
  • As required Aashirvaad Salt as per taste
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 5 cups Water –

Directions: South Indian Lamb Madras Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a cooker add mustard seeds and curry leaves let splutter Add sliced onions sauté
  • STEP 2.till golden brown then add ginger-garlic paste fry till raw smell goes Add tomatoes cook till soft
  • STEP 3.then add turmeric, red chili, coriander powder and Aashirvaad Karam Masala mix well Add lamb pieces sauté for 5–6 minutes till coated with masala
  • STEP 4.Add Aashirvaad Salt and 2–3 cups water pressure cook for 4–5 whistles till lamb turns tender
  • STEP 5.Open lid add coconut milk simmer for 5 minutes Garnish with curry leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or paratha
