  • 1/2 pack rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 Nos chicken breast
  • stalk A lemongrass
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 cup Water
  • As required Salt
  • As required Spice Paste
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 4 Nos shallots
  • 3 Nos garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 piece galangal
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • As required Toppings
  • 2 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 cup sliced cabbages
  • 2 Nos hard boiled eggs
  • stalk A spring onion
  • 2 Nos limes cut into wedges
  • As required Fried shallot crisps

How to Make Soto Ayam Recipe

STEP 01

Soak the rice noodles in warm water to soften it and later drain out the water

STEP 02

Grind all the spice ingredients and make a paste

STEP 03

Cut chicken breast into pieces

STEP 04

1.add oil in a pan & heat it.

STEP 05

2.add spice paste & saute it.

STEP 06

3.add in the chicken broth, coconut milk, lemongrass,water and bring it to a boil.

STEP 07

4.then add the chicken breast,cover and cook at low flame for 30 mins and add salt as per taste.

STEP 08

5.boil rice noodles,bean sprouts, cabbages in a separate pot and transfer it into a bowl.

STEP 09

6.then add toppings of hard boiled eggs,onions and pour the hot chicken broth into the bowl.

STEP 10

7.serve hot with lime wedges and shallot crisps.
