  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds

  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Peel and chop the bottle gourd into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and dried red chilies.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, curry leaves, and cook until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped bottle gourd, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 5.Add tamarind pulp and water, cover and cook until the bottle gourd is tender.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
