Ingredients for Sopa De Habas Recipe

  • 1-16 ounce Lima Beans package
  • 12 cup water divided
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 1/4 onion diced
  • 1 garlic clove finely minced
  • 1 jalapeño finely diced
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon

Directions: Sopa De Habas Recipe

  • STEP 1.Rise the lima beans, soak them overnight in a bowl of water and drain the next morning.
  • STEP 2.In a pot add the beans and water. Cook it for 40 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add the tomatoes, jalapenos,onion and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes, add in a cup of water and cooked lima beans
  • STEP 4.Add the chicken bouillon, cook for another 20 minutes and serve.
