  • 0.13 cup Water
  • 0.13 Onion, Sliced
  • 0.13 tablespoon Pickling Spices
  • 1 Slices Rye Bread
  • 0.06 cup Thousand Island Dressing
  • 0.13 cup Sauerkraut, Drained
  • 1 Slices Swiss Cheese
  • 1/4 tablespoon Butter

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Place the corned beef in the slow cooker and add water, onion, and pickling spices.
  • STEP 2.Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the corned beef is tender.
  • STEP 3.Remove the corned beef from the slow cooker and slice it thinly.
  • STEP 4.Spread Thousand Island dressing on one side of each slice of rye bread.
  • STEP 5.Layer the sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on top of the dressing.
  • STEP 6.Top with another slice of rye bread.
