This delicacy is prepared by milk until it is slightly thickened, sweetening it with sugar or date palm jagerry, nd allowing the milk to ferment overnight....
Ingredients for Simple Mishti doi /sweet caramel curd Recipe
0.33 Litre ml full fat milk
1 Tbsp sugar
33.33 g thick yogurt
0.67 Tbsp sugar
0.08 Cup milk
Directions: Simple Mishti Doi /sweet Caramel Curd Recipe
STEP 1.Heat milk in a heavy bottomed pan. Give ot a boil. Stir it occasionally. Reduce it until ½.
STEP 2.Add cardamom powder in it and stir well. Turn off the gas. Keep aside.
STEP 3.After 10to 15 minutes add jaggery powder in it and mix until jaggery dissolved.
STEP 4.Check the temperature of milk. Like feel comfortably warm but not hot.
STEP 5.Pour curd in it nd mix well. Now pour it in a bowl nd cover it. Keep aside for 5 to 6 hours.
STEP 6.Mishti doi is ready to serve....
