Tasty and quick sihi prepared from chow chow, veggies, chana dal, moong dal and spices. Sesaoned with mustard seeds, roasted peanuts and curry curry leaves.
STEP 1.Fry the chow chow, potatoes, beans, carrots, ash gourd, beans, moong dal, chana, salt, jaggery, turmeric powder in ghee until golden color and grind to a fine paste with little water.
STEP 2.Heat a pan, keep on medium flame. Add ghee and all the remaining ingredients except coconut. Fry for 2 minutes. Switch off the stove. Transfer contents to a plate. Cool. Blend to a fine paste with little water.
STEP 3.Heat a pan. Add the water. When the water boils add the washed broken moong dal.
STEP 4.The dal is cooked. Add the vegetables and turmeric powder. Once vegetables are cooked add the salt and jaggery. Mix gently.
STEP 5.Add ground paste and cook on sim flame. Stir. Add the cooked white chana and mix. Cook on sim flame for 5 mins. Switch off and serve hot.
