How to Make Sichuan Spicy Chicken Salad Recipe
1 fill a medium sized pan with water and add 400 gm chicken breast to it.
2 boil the chicken breast for 45 minutes until it is cooked.
3 remove from the water and set aside to cool.
4 heat oil in a wok till it is smoking, then remove the wok from the heat and let it cool for 1 minute.
5 add 2 tsp chilli powder to the oil and stir well to mix it into the oil. Ensure that the oil is not too hot in order to prevent the chilli powder from burning.
6 turn off the heat.
7 in a bowl shred the chicken into small pieces once it has cooled and add 6 to 8 finely chopped cloves of garlic, 2 thinly sliced spring onions, 50 gm finely chopped coriander 2 tsp castor sugar and salt to taste.
8 to this add 2 tbsp light soy sauce and the prepared chilli oil. Mix all the ingredients together till well combined.
9 then place on a dish and serve
