  • 1 tablespoon Chili Oil
  • 1.50 tablespoon Black vinegar
  • 1.50 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 Garlic smashed clove
  • 1 teaspoon Sichuan Peppercorn Powder

Directions: Sichuan Hot And Sour Noodle Soup Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 to make the noodle soup, in a large bowl add ½ tsp chilli powder, 1 tbsp chilli oil, 1 ½ tbsp black vinegar, 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce ,1 clove garlic smashed, 1 tsp sichuan peppercorn powder, salt to taste.

  • STEP 2.2 to this add 1 cup hot chicken stock.

  • STEP 3.3 fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add 1 cup sweet potato noodles and cover and cook for 5 minutes till soft. Strain the noodles using a sieve and add them to the bowl of soup.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 top this noodle soup with a leaf of lettuce, 1 to 2 tsp of pickled lotus stem, fried peanuts, fried soybeans and sprinkle chopped coriander and chopped scallions.
