A chinese dishe combines the vegetables and sauces. A delicious sticky sauce that coats the shrimp beautifully. Comes together in 20 minutes, which makes it the perfect weeknight meal but yet delicious enough for entertaining.

Ingredients for Shrimp With Broccoli Recipe

  • 225 gram large sized shrimp shelled
  • 2 teaspoon corn starch
  • 0.12 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 225 gram broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oil divided
  • 1 No.s clove garlic
  • 1 No.s small white onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon White Pepper

Directions: Shrimp With Broccoli Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 marinate shrimp with dash of white pepper, 1 teaspoon cornstarch and 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil. Cover and refrigerate for half an hour.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 boil a pot of water. Add a few drops of oil. Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water about 2 minutes.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 transfer the broccoli to cold water. Drain and set aside.prepare the sauce in a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon water, 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. Stir well and set aside.

step 4

  • STEP 4.1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir fry shrimp for 2 minutes, or until color changes. Transfer to a plate.

step 5

  • STEP 5.2. Wash the skillet and then heat the remaining 1 tablespoon oil over high heat. Add garlic and onion. Stir fry for 1 minute.

step 6

  • STEP 6.3. Add shrimp, broccoli and sauce. Stir fry for 1 minute. Add 1/8 teaspoon salt. Serve hot.
