  • STEP 1.Soak split Bengal gram (chana dal) in water for 2 hours, then drain.
  • STEP 2.Grind the soaked dal with green chilies, ginger, and salt to a coarse paste.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a deep pan and drop spoonfuls of the dal mixture into the hot oil.
  • STEP 4.Fry the fritters until golden brown and crispy, then remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
