  • 1 tablespoon Mustard Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • as per your need Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and dry the okra, then trim the ends and cut them into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and fenugreek seeds. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Then add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.In a separate bowl, make a paste with mustard seeds, green chilies, turmeric powder, and salt.
  • STEP 5.Add the mustard paste to the pan and cook for a few minutes until the raw smell of mustard disappears.
  • STEP 6.Add the okra pieces to the pan and mix well with the mustard sauce. Cook for 10-12 minutes until the okra is tender.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
