Ingredients for Shogayu Recipe

  • 2 teaspoon ginger root, grated
  • 1.50 cup Water
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon Katakuriko or cornstarch plus 2 tsp water

Directions: Shogayu Recipe

  • STEP 1.Grate the ginger
  • STEP 2.Add water,ginger and honey in a pot, put on medium heat before boiling
  • STEP 3.In a bowl mix katakuriko and water and add to the tea
  • STEP 4.Cook until it thickens
