Ingredients for Shiitake Ginger Chicken Recipe

  • 2 piece chicken quarters
  • 225 gram Ginger
  • 4 tablespoon peanut cooking oil
  • 110 gram dried mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1.50 cup Water
  • 2 teaspoon rice wine

Directions: Shiitake Ginger Chicken Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Pre mix sauce oyster sauce, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, white pepper, chicken bouillon and mix well. (all in the quantities mentioned)

step 2

  • STEP 1.Add cooking oil in a hot wok, stir fry ginger to the toasted stage but not burnt.

step 3

  • STEP 2.Add chicken meat to it and then add water soaked mushrooms. After 5 minutes add the pre mix sauce.

step 4

  • STEP 3.Add water to it and bring it to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Discard the spent ginger and continue to boil to reduce sauce and water.

step 5

  • STEP 4.Then add rice wine and transfer to a serving plate.
