Ingredients for Sheer Khurma Recipe

  • 3 tablespoon Desi ghee
  • 1 tablespoon Chironji
  • 1 tablespoon Pista
  • 1 tablespoon Almond
  • 1 tablespoon Walnut
  • 5-7 no Dates or Chuara
  • 1 lt Milk
  • 1 pinch Saffron
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 40 handful/gms Semiyan

Directions: Sheer Khurma Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a pan add 1½ tbsp of clarified butter. Sprinkle chironji, pista, almond, walnuts and dates. Provide a fast stir and pour milk, add saffron, cardamom powder and sugar.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Cook the milk until it reduces to 0.5. This might take your time therefore keep stirring.

step 3

  • STEP 3.In a separate pan heat the remaining clarified butter and add broken semiyan. Stir on low heat for a few minutes to gently brown it.

step 4

  • STEP 4.Pour within the reduced milk over semiyan and cook for one more 8-10min. Take away from heat and serve hot or cold.
