Ingredients for Shaking Beef � Vietnamese Thit Bo Luc Lac Recipe

  • 1/2 pound Beef ribeye or new york or filet mignon you want whole steak size pieces. don't cut it into cubes
  • As required Salt to season the beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper you want to give the beef a liberal coating of semi-coarsely ground pepper
  • 1.50 Cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil plus a little more if the pan is dry when you add the garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Dark soy thai sweet soy preferably
  • 3/4 tablespoon Oyster sauce thai preferably
  • 1/2 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon Sugar or even more if you like things a bit sweet
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon Rice vinegar to taste this will be mixed with the hot sauce after you deglaze your pan
  • 1.50 cup Watercress or baby greens of your choice
  • 0.13 cup Red Onion Thinly Sliced
  • 1/4 cup Cherry tomatoes cut in 0. 5 go with the best you can get
