Makhanas or foxnuts are dried lotus seeds which are rich in fiber proteins and carbohydrates. My mom used to make its delicious gravy veggy and i had learnt it from her before my marriage only..as i live in bonn germany i never found these foxnuts here and always craved for this this..here i am writing the recipe of my moms shahi matar makhana gravy dish.
