  • 125 gram Okra, Washed And Dried
  • 3/4 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 Large Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Pureed
  • 1/2 tablespoon Yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • as required Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and dry the okra, then trim the ends and slit them lengthwise.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the okra until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • STEP 3.In the same pan, add onions and cook until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add tomatoes, yogurt, and spices. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  • STEP 5.Add the fried okra to the gravy and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.

  • Make sure to dry the okra thoroughly before cooking to avoid sliminess.
  • You can add a pinch of sugar to balance the flavors of the dish.
