Ingredients for Sev Tamatar Recipe

  • 1 cup Namkeen sev
  • 2 tablespoon Desi ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 Garlic Minced
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 3 Green chilli
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 1 cup Tomato
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 1/2 cup Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup Kashmiri red chilli
  • 1/2 tablespoon Coriander seeds powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Garam Masala
  • As required Coriander leaves A few

step 1

  • STEP 1.Take a hot pan with some oil, add some cumin seeds, asafoetida, garlic cloves and roast for a few minutes on medium flames. Add some ginger paste, green chilles chopped, onions chopped,  tomatoes chopped and cook for 2 minutes.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Add a cup of curd, turmeric powder and some salt.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Add some water for essence. Then add the namkeen sev and cook for 2 minutes more until they soften. At the end add some garam masala and cook for a few minutes

step 4

  • STEP 1.Garnish with some coriander leaves.
