Ingredients for Semiya Payasam Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/5 cup Roasted Vermicelli
  • 0.40 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1/20 cup Sugar
  • 2 No.s Cashew
  • 3 No.s Raisins
  • 1/10 cup Milkmaid
  • 1/10 teaspoon Cardamom powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a deep add 2 tbsp ghee. Stir fry cashews and raisins in the pans and transfer them to a plate. Keep aside.
  • STEP 2.Boil 2 ½ cup milk in a saucepan.
  • STEP 3.Add into the deep pan 1 cup of roasted vermicelli. Transfer half of the boiling mlk to the deep pan and let it cook with a lid on for 7 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Add ¼ cup of sugar and the remaining boiled milk. Stir the mix
  • STEP 5.Add ½ cup of milkmaid and mix the ingredients well.
  • STEP 6.Put ½ tsp of cardamom powder and stir well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame and garnish with roasted cashews and raisins.
