Ingredients for Schezwan Tandoori Dhokla Recipe

  • 1/4 cup fine besan
  • 0.13 cup water
  • 3/4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 0.13 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Vegetables oil
  • 0.06 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.13 tsp Baking soda
  • 0.13 cup hung curd
  • 0.06 cup Schezwan sauce
  • 0.06 cup Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 0.13 tsp Black salt
  • 1/4 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil

Directions: Schezwan Tandoori Dhokla Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, add water, salt, lemon juice, sugar powder, Oil & Turmeric powder, mix well, add Besan, beat with a whisker for 5 min. or until smooth batter consistency. Add baking soda & mix before steaming.
  • STEP 2.Put the dhokla batter into a greased baking tin & place into a steamer. Steam for 15 min.on medium flame. After that steam for another 5 min.on low flame for perfect spongy Dhokla.
  • STEP 3.Now take out from steamer & cool slightly.
  • STEP 4.For Schezwan Tandoori marination, into a mixing bowl, add hung Curd, black Salt, Chaat masala, Chopped Coriander leaves, Schezwan Sauce.
  • STEP 5.Mix together properly. Keep aside.
  • STEP 6.Demould dhokla from backing tin. Cut in to square pieces. Dip each side of dhoklas into the prepared marination.
  • STEP 7.Heat 2 tbsp oil into a pan, fry the marinated Dhoklas until golden brown colour on each sides.
  • STEP 8.Serve Schezwan Tandoori Dhoklas with Schezwan Sauce & Minty Onion salad.
