Schezwan fried rice is a popular fried rice variety from the Indo Chinese cuisine. It is quite popular and is most ordered in Indo Chinese restaurant . Unlike the regular fried rice , schezwan fried rice is hot and spicy with bursting flavours of ginger , garlic , soya sauce and red chilli paste .

Ingredients for Schezwan fried rice Recipe

  • 250 g Rice
  • 3 Pieces Onion
  • 1 Pieces Carrot
  • 1 Cup French beans
  • 1 Pieces Capsicum
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger
  • 2 Tbsp Celery
  • 3 Tbsp Schezwan sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic

Directions: Schezwan Fried Rice Recipe

  • STEP 1.Poor oil to hot work . Fried ginger and garlic till they smell good
  • STEP 2.Next add onion and fried until golden
  • STEP 3.On a high flame fry spring onion whites , carrots , beans and capsicum until half cooked yet crunchy
  • STEP 4.Next add Schezwan sauce , cooled rice and spring onion greens
  • STEP 5.Mix and stir fry Schezwan for 2 minutes . Taste test and adjust sald and spice if needed
  • STEP 6. Serve Schezwan fried rice hot or warm with any indo Chinese side
