It's a low oil namkeen. Loaded with dry fruits and nut. It can be enjoyed by everyone including kids. Serves as a nice accompaniment with tea and endless gup-shup with friends and family.
STEP 1.Dry roast puffed rice and makhana for approximately 3-4 minutes till crisp. Keep them aside.
STEP 2.Heat oil. Fry coconut,cashew,peanuts,channa dal,garlic slices,curry leaves,dry red chilli,mustard seeds seperately and keep them aside.
STEP 3.Combine the roasted puffed rice makhana with the fried ingredients.
STEP 4.Add the remaining ingredients (raisins, powdered sugar, salt, haldi, red chilli powder) and toss.
STEP 5.Roast again the combined mixture for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 6.Cool completely and store in an air tight container.
STEP 7.Enjoy.
