French toast prepared in a savoury manner and served with mushrooms flavoured with achari mayo . The Savory French Toast Topped is a twist to the classic sweetened French toast. In this recipe we have cooked the french toast along with Nutralite Garlic & Oregano Spread and topped it with a sliced roasted Mushrooms which is tossed in some Achari Mayo lending to a fusion dish.

  • 1 teaspoon Nurtalite garlic and oregano spread
  • 1 No.s Onion Finely Chopped
  • 2 No.s Green chillies finely chopped
  • 200 gram Mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoon Nutralite achari mayo
  • As required Ingredients for french toast
  • As required Bread slices
  • 3 No.s Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black pepper
  • As required Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Nutralite garlic and oregano spread
  • As required Milk

Directions: Savoury French Toast And Achari Mushroom Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a preheated pan melt 1 tsp Nurtalite garlic and oregano spread, 1 finely chopped onion, 2 finely chopped green chillies. Saute till onions become soft and change colour.
  • STEP 2.Add 200 gms sliced mushrooms and sprinkle very little salt.
  • STEP 3.Saute for 3 to 4 minutes till the mushrooms become tender but not mushy. Gently toss the mushrooms without breaking them.
  • STEP 4.Sprinkle chopped mint leaves and add 2 tbsp Nutralite achari mayo. Give it a light stir and switch off the heat. Check for salt.
  • STEP 5.To make the french toast, in a mixing bowl crack 3 eggs, ½ tsp crushed black pepper, salt to taste and a little milk . Whisk to combine well.
  • STEP 6.Cut thick slices of bread and dip each slice into the french toast batter until it is soaked well.
  • STEP 7.In a preheated pan, melt 1 tsp Nutralite garlic and oregano spread and place the slices of soaked bread on the pan till golden brown and fully cooked on both sides. Keep pressing and cooking on medium heat so that the egg gets thoroughly cooked.
  • STEP 8.Put the slices on a plate and spoon achari mushroom on top.
