Ingredients for Savoury curd cake Recipe

  • 25 g Idly batter
  • 12.50 g Besan
  • 12.50 g Curd
  • 25 g Hungcurd
  • 1/2 Tbsp Mayoneese
  • 1/2 Tbsp Cheese spread

Directions: Savoury Curd Cake Recipe

  • STEP 1.Add salt , oil and baking soda to idly batter and put in cake tin and steam for 30 minutes , give rest and then cut transversely from middle into 2 parts. Make khaman dhokla batter by besan and curd by mixing and fermenting them .Same process for khaman dhokla all 4 parts soaked with salt and sugar syrup. Take 1 idli part and spread coconut chutney . Place 1 dhokla part above it and spread green chutney over it . Repeat the same process for remaining parts and make a 4 layer thick cake. Mix hungcurd , cheese spread and mayoneese and make cream . Cover whole cake by spreading this cream and decorate with par boiled carrots and peas, green , tamarind chutney. Ready to serve
