Ingredients for Saudi Hareesa Recipe

  • 2 piece Cinnamon Sticks
  • 5 piece Cloves
  • 4 piece Cardamon Pods
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 500 gram Lamb W/ Bones
  • 2 cup Soaked Wheat Grains
  • As required Melted Ghee Oil
  • As required Grinded Sugar Or Honey

  • STEP 1.In a pot with three liters of water on high heat, add spices filter (with cinnamon, cardamom pods, cumin seeds, and cloves), lamb meat with bones, and cook for one hour.

  • STEP 2.Remove spice filters and bones from meat.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Add two cups of soaked wheat grains and cook for two hours. However, keep checking each quarter-hour to avoid the wheat from projecting.

step 4

  • STEP 4.Keep smashing wheat with a spoon until swish. If not swish, use a hand liquidizer to create swish.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Serve hot during a bowl, drizzle butter oil on prime, and sprinkle either fine sugar or honey in line with style.
