Sattu paratha is a favourite stuffed paratha from the state of Bihar,Uttar pradesh and Bengal. Sattu paratha is a healthy, delicious ,wholesome and easy breakfast item.
0-1/4 nos Sattucup (dry roast channa dhal and powder it)
As required ½ teaspoon finely chopped Garlic
1/4 teaspoon finely chopped ginger
1/4 nos finely chopped onion
As required ½ teaspoon Nigella Seeds
3/4 tablespoon mustard oil
1/4 teaspoon Finely chopped green chilli
As required Salt-to taste
1/2 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves
Directions: Sattu Paratha Recipe
STEP 1.Mix all the ingredients given for the filling. Keep it aside
STEP 2.Mix flour, salt and oil.
STEP 3.Add enough water and knead it to a soft dough.
STEP 4.Cover and keep it aside for 30minutes.
STEP 5.Divide dough into lemon sized balls.Roll out each ball into a thick disc.
STEP 6.Place enough filling in the centre and carefully bring the sides together and pinch to seal the seam.
STEP 7.Dust it with flour and carefully press it into a thick disc.
STEP 8.Heat a tawa and cook the paratha on both sides.
STEP 9.Apply oil on both sides and serve immediately.
