  • as required Water For Kneading
  • 1/2 cup Sattu
  • 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Amchur Powder

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, combine wheat flour, salt, and water. Knead into a soft dough.
  • STEP 2.In another bowl, mix sattu, chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, and spices.
  • STEP 3.Divide the dough and filling into equal portions.
  • STEP 4.Take a portion of the dough and roll it into a small disc.
  • STEP 5.Place a portion of the filling in the center and seal the edges to form a ball.
  • STEP 6.Dust the ball with flour and roll it into a paratha.
  • STEP 7.Heat a griddle and cook the paratha on medium heat until golden brown spots appear on both sides.
  • STEP 8.Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.

Cooking Tips

  • Add a little oil or ghee while kneading the dough for a softer texture.
  • You can add grated paneer or mashed potatoes to the filling for variation.
  • Serve the paratha with a dollop of butter for extra richness.
