Ingredients for samosa Recipe

  • 0.40 cup Maida / plain flour
  • 1/20 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1/10 tsp Salt
  • 1/20 cup Oil for dough
  • 1/10 cup water
  • 0.40 tsp tsp Oil for stuffin
  • 1/10 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/10 tsp Crushed fennel seeds
  • 1/10 tsp Crushed coriander seeds
  • 1/5 inch Pinch asafoetida
  • 1/5 inch ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1/10 cup Peas
  • 1/5 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/10 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/10 tsp Aamchur powder
  • 0.80 tsp Tsp salt
  • 1 Pieces Cashew chopped
  • 0.40 Tsp reen chutney
  • 1/5 Tsp Tamarind chutney
  • 1/5 g Fried green chillies

Directions: Samosa Recipe

  • STEP 1.Firstly, in a large kadai take 2 tsp oil, 1 tsp cumin, saute, 1/2 tsp fennel nd 1/2 tsp coriander seeds, pinch hing, it crackled.
  • STEP 2.Add 1 inch ginger nd 1 chilli. Add peas nd saute for 2 mins.
  • STEP 3.(I have used frozen peas here if you using soaked peas then make sure to boil.
  • STEP 4.Additionally, add all dry spices nd salt, saute on low flame until spices turns aromatic.
  • STEP 5.Add 4 boiled nd mashed potatoes, mix well until the spices are well combined.
  • STEP 6.Mix well, stuffing is ready. Allow to cool completely.
  • STEP 7.Mix well, stuffing is ready. Allow to cool completely.
  • STEP 8.Take a large mixing bowl, take maida/wheat flour.
  • STEP 9.Add carom seeds, salt nd oil nd mix well, it crumble, holds shape.
  • STEP 10.Add little by little water to knead dough.
  • STEP 11.Now, make samosa, seal tight.
  • STEP 12.Firstly, heat the oil in kadai nd deep fry the samosa on a low flame.
  • STEP 13.Stir occasionally, frying the samosa on low medium flame until it turns golden nd crisp.
  • STEP 14.Drain off over kitchen paper,
  • STEP 15.Finally, enjoy aloo samosa with green chutney nd tamarind chutney, fried green chillies.
