Ingredients for Samosa Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Plain flour
  • 1/4 tsp and half tsp oil
  • a pinch of ajwain(carom seeds)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 cup Peeled and mashed potatoes
  • 0.13 cup Boiled green peas
  • a pinch Of hing
  • 0.13 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.06 tsp Whole coriander seeds
  • to taste Salt
  • To Taste Chilli powder as per your taste
  • 1/4 tsp Chopped coriander
  • As Required Oil for deep frying
  • 0.13 tsp Chopped curry leaves
  • 0.13 tsp Turmeric powder

Directions: Samosa Recipe

  • STEP 1.for the dough:combine all the ingredients(flour, oil, carom seeds, salt) in a bowl and knead into a stiff dough using enough water .cover the dough with a wet muslin cloth and keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • STEP 2.for the stuffing: heat the oil in a pan,add coriander seeds and add hing ,curry leaves and ginger garlic paste and saute on a medium flame for a few secnds.
  • STEP 3.now add turmeric powder, chilli powder and add the potatoes and green peas, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • STEP 4.now add salt and lastly chopped coriander leaves and mix well for another 1 minute. now switch off the flame and divide the stuffing into 6 equal parts and keep aside.
  • STEP 5.process:knead the dough well and divide into 3 equal portions.
  • STEP 6.roll out a portion of the dough into 150 mm diameter oval .cut it into 2 equal portion using a knife.
  • STEP 7.take a portion and join the edges to make a cone and stuff the cone with a portion of the stuffing and apply little water on the edges to seal it.
  • STEP 8.repeat with the remaining dough and stuffing. now heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the samosas on amedium flame.lastly drain on absorbent paper.
