Ingredients for Sambar rice Recipe

  • As required ForSambar:
  • As required Toor dal (arhar dal) ½ cup
  • 0.33 pieces Drumstick cut into
  • As required Carrot ½ cup chopped
  • As required Beans ½ cup chopped
  • As required Pumpkin ½ cup cubes
  • 0.33 nos Tomato chopped
  • 0.67 tbsp tamarind pulp
  • As required Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp
  • 0.67 tbsp Aashirvaad Sambar Masala
  • As required Aashirvaad Salt as per taste
  • 2.33 cups Water –
  • As required For tempering:
  • As required Mustard seeds ½ tsp
  • 0.33 nos Dry red chili
  • 4.33 nos Curry Leaves –
  • 0.33 tbsp Oil or Aashirvaad Ghee
  • As required for boiled rice
  • 0.33 cup Rice
  • 1 cups Water
  • As required Aashirvaad Salt ½ tsp

Directions: Sambar Rice Recipe

  • STEP 1.For sambar Pressure cook toor dal with turmeric and water till soft mash lightly
  • STEP 2.In a pan boil vegetables with tamarind pulp and tomatoes till cooked Add cooked dal mix in Aashirvaad Sambar Masala and Aashirvaad Salt simmer for 10 minutes
  • STEP 3.Heat ghee/oil in small pan splutter mustard seeds, dry red chili, curry leaves pour over sambar and mix
  • STEP 4.For boiled rice Wash rice well cook with water and Aashirvaad Salt till fluffy and soft
