  • 1/2 pound Salt fish
  • 2 Stalks Thyme
  • 1 Stalks Green Onion/ Scallion
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 0.33 bell peppers
  • 1 cored tomato
  • 1 scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chicken/veg base
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon all purpose seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Water

Directions: Saltfish Fritters Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak the cod in cold water long to rehydrate it and take away excess salt.
  • STEP 2.Remove any bones and skin.
  • STEP 3.Flake and shred the fish into little items and put aside.
  • STEP 4.Sift flour, leaven, and pepper into an oversized bowl.
  • STEP 5.Add the diced tomatoes, inexperienced onions, and flaked cod.
  • STEP 6.Pour in 1/2 cup water and stir till everything is mixed.
  • STEP 7.Heat 1/4 in. Of oil in a very massive serious frying pan over medium heat.
